The match
You picked each other. Jump on a video call from your match page, no numbers swapped. See the place live, feel it out. If you don't click, no fee, no hard feelings, no swop.
The swop
Both sides confirm, $100 each, you're introduced. You're in their place while they're in yours. We'll send you a swop agreement to chat through together. You've got enough lords in your life, so we're staying right out of it.
Err, my stuff
The trust mechanism is the swop itself. You've both got skin in the game. You're in their home while they're in yours. Neither of you is going anywhere near a bad decision.
What it costs
Nothing between swoppers. Rent stays where it always went. $100 each party when a swop confirms.
Your lease
A swop is a reciprocal guest stay. No money changes hands and your swopmate is a houseguest, not a tenant. Leases vary, so check yours if you want to be sure. Your place, your call.
Damage
There's a $5k Swops repair fund for the genuine stuff - red wine on the couch, smashed planter, mystery stain that definitely wasn't there before. Upload before and after photos. If you can't sort it between yourselves, we step in within 48 hours.
